Dr. Mukesh Kumar Gupta is the Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (UK), National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS), National Academy of Dairy Sciences (NADS), National Academy of Biological Sciences (NABS), National Academy of Environmental Sciences (NAES), Indian Association for Advancement of Veterinary Research (IAAVR), Academy of Environment and Life Sciences (AELS) and Society of Applied Biotechnology (SAB).
He is an Executive Member of the Council of Asian Science Editors (CASE), HERITAGE Network (France), and Editorial Board Member of a few SCI-indexed Journals. He is known for his research on animal cloning, transgenics, in vitro spermatogenesis by tissue engineering, a quick method to detect DNA fragmentation, and solid surface vitrification. His work on modified solid surface vitrification is used world-wide for cryopreservation of pig oocytes and embryos.
